Lori Ann C. Lum : Advisor

Lori Lum is the Public Affairs Director at Watanabe Ing LLP, providing strategic counseling and government affairs services for clients on public policy issues involving county councils, the State Legislature and congress.
Ms. Lum has over 25 years experience in communications, community and government relations, marketing, and business and resort development. She has held management positions with Lanai Resort Partners, Pan-Pacific Hoteliers (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Japan Airlines), Long Distance/USA and the Halekulani Hotel.
Ms. Lum engages in extensive community relations work for non-profit organizations. For six years, she chaired the Board of the Hawaii Community Development Authority (HCDA), an agency created by the 1976 Hawaii State Legislature to plan for and revitalize urban areas in the State which lawmakers found to be in need of timely redevelopment. Ms. Lum also served on the Board of Directors of the Hawaii Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation International and the Visitor Aloha Society of Hawaii. She is currently on the Board of Directors of Aloha Festivals, the Girl Scouts of Hawaii, and Child and Family Service, Hawaii's largest non-profit human service organization.
