Robert T. Takamatsu : Partner

Robert T. Takamatsu, the head of the firm's Construction Management and Professional Design Group, is a partner whose primary emphasis is in commercial, construction and environment law practice. His work includes the drafting of construction and design professional contracts, the handling of mechanic lien actions, and the handling of commercial and construction claims. In addition, his practice has also been devoted to the environmental field, handling investigation, site remediation and litigation in cases involving hazardous contaminants.
Mr. Takamatsu has also served as advisor in the management of construction projects. As counsel for various developers, Mr. Takamatsu has advised in the construction and development of major projects, including the Hawaii Prince Hotel in Waikiki and First Hawaiian Bank's Kamehameha Industrial Center.
Mr. Takamatsu was born and raised on Maui, graduating from Baldwin High School.
He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Hawaii Bar Association.
