Michael C. Bird : Partner
Michael C. Bird joined Watanabe Ing LLP in 1992, and became a partner in 2000. Mr. Bird heads the firm’s Government Contracts and Procurement Group. His practice areas include government contracting and procurement on the County, State, and Federal levels, as well as commercial and construction litigation, general contract law, insurance defense litigation, land use, environmental law, and surety law.
Prior to pursuing his career in law, Mr. Bird was a Senior Building Inspector with the City and County of Honolulu’s Building Department.
Mr. Bird is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association, the State Bar of California, and serves as a Barrister with the Aloha Inn of the American Inns of Court.
