Summer Law Clerk Program
We've carefully designed our summer law clerk program so that each clerk will have the opportunity to learn more about our firm, our people and our practice. Law clerks receive a variety of assignments from our diverse practice groups, which are then evaluated with constructive feedback. Each summer law clerk is teamed with a partner and an associate mentor. The mentors are available to provide guidance and advice to the law clerks about our firm, our practice, assignments and other matters. Law clerks also gain experience by taking part in practical exercises, which have included mock depositions and mock settlement conferences. Weekly lunches conducted by our various practice groups assist the law clerks in learning more about the professionals in our firm and our practice areas.
The summer law clerk program includes a number of social events, both formal and informal, that allow the law clerks to meet our attorneys and staff in a more relaxed setting. From the annual summer picnic to the law clerk challenge to informal pau hana gatherings, our law clerks have opportunities to meet and interact with everyone within our firm over the course of the summer.
