Summer H. Kaiawe (2019 HSBA President, Young Lawyers Division) is a skilled advisor and advocate experienced in resolving client disputes in the areas of real estate and land use, title and escrow, lender liability, appellate litigation, and trademark and copyright infringement. Summer strives to deliver the highest level of client satisfaction by solving problems efficiently and effectively. Summer is also deeply committed to serving the local community and is a director on the board of Aloha Harvest, a local non-profit.

Ian Sandison (2019 HSBA President, Senior Counsel Division) focuses on environmental / land use and litigation. Ian has worked on a variety of projects including commercial, industrial, and residential projects throughout the state. Recent matters include administrative matters that have been successfully litigated through the Hawai'i Supreme Court, precedent-setting federal and state environmental enforcement cases, complex environmental due diligence in connection with land acquisition and commercial lending, and environmental civil litigation.
