Rihui Yuan

Associate

Rihui (“Ri”) Yuan joined Watanabe Ing in September 2022 as an associate. Her practice is focused in the areas of Litigation and Trial, Environmental, and Creditor’s Rights.  Rihui received her J.D. from the William S. Richardson School of Law, and her B.S. in Food Science Human Nutrition from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa where she was a Dean’s Outstanding Scholar from 2014-2018. While in law school, Rihui was a member of the Pacific Asian Legal Society, a two-time oralist on the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Team, and a recipient of the Bruce C. Bigelow Memorial Scholarship, Carol C. Mon Lee Scholarship, and Gregory Conlan Scholarship. Rihui also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Sabrina S. McKenna, Associate Justice of the Hawai‘i Supreme Court, in addition to working as a law clerk for a regulated public utility and a local litigation firm.  Prior to joining Watanabe Ing, Rihui served as a law clerk for the Honorable Lisa W. Cataldo of the First Circuit Court of Hawai‘i.
