Staci M. Fujikawa


Staci M. Fujikawa joined Watanabe Ing in 2005. She is currently a partner in the firm’s labor, employment and employee benefits group, and throughout her time at Watanabe Ing has worked on a wide variety of cases within this practice area representing management.

Ms. Fujikawa handles many of the firm’s labor and employment cases, including state and federal discrimination and harassment cases, retaliation and whistle-blower cases, labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, mediations, and other administrative proceedings (such as those involving the Hawai‘i Civil Rights Commission, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and Department of Labor). Ms. Fujikawa also provides day-to-day legal counsel to clients dealing with employment and union issues. Ms. Fujikawa assists her clients in being proactive in preventing employment and labor litigation, including drafting and updating employee handbooks and policies, conducting legal training, advising on discipline and termination issues, wage and hour compliance, employment contract issues, separation agreements, collective bargaining issues, and advising on any other issues clients may have regarding their employees.
