Kendall Matsuyoshi rejoined the Public Affairs Group as a Government Relations & Public Affairs Advisor in 2020. He previously was an Associate with the Group from 2012 to 2013. He worked as an independent contractor while living on the mainland from 2013 to 2020 providing legislative research and bill tracking services for the firm.
Mr. Matsuyoshi’s role includes assisting in the development of strategies to achieve desired outcomes for clients, advocating at the state and county levels on client issues, providing legislative research and managing bill tracking.
Mr. Matsuyoshi has extensive government affairs background, having worked at the Hawaii State Legislature’s House of Representatives as committee clerk, office manager, and administrative services manager. He also served as the administrative director for a state trade association for property and casualty insurance companies for five years.
