With over 30 years of experience practicing management labor and employment law in Hawai‘i, Ronald Y.K. Leong delivers solid advice to employers designed to be both legal and practical.

Mr. Leong represents both profit and non-profit organizations, advising on all aspects of federal and state labor and employment laws, with an emphasis on training management to assist in proactive issue recognition and preventive practices. He counsels on terminations, employee leave and disability laws, employment discrimination, executive compensation and severance agreements, and traditional labor law matters.  He has served as chief spokesperson in collective bargaining negotiations and represents employers in labor arbitrations and mediations.

Mr. Leong also represents buyers and sellers in business acquisitions, reorganizations and reductions-in-force related to labor and employment issues.

Mr. Leong has since 2007 been chosen by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America and is regularly listed in Honolulu Magazine’s Best Lawyers in Hawai‘i in the areas of management labor law and employment law.
