Brendan K. Ogata

Associate

Brendan Ogata joined Watanabe Ing in March 2022 as an associate attorney practicing in the areas of creditors’ rights, business law, foreclosures, bankruptcy, collections and loan workouts. He is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association as well as the Business Law and Real Property & Financial Services sections of the HSBA.

Ogata earned his J.D. from the William S. Richardson School of Law from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and his M.B.A. from the Shidler School of Business.  While in law school he served on the Intellectual Property Moot Court team and with Business Law Corps, a legal nonprofit organization that provides new small business owners and entrepreneurs of limited means with access to the legal system.

Prior to joining Watanabe Ing, Ogata worked at another Honolulu law firm, focusing his practice in the areas of condominiums/associations, foreclosures and collections.
